Happy Birthday Heidi

We had a gully washer last night.  The rain fell in sheets  along with wild winds, accompanied by thunder and lightening.  The hydro flickered a couple of times but, fortunately, stayed on.  I am sure that trees were knocked down somewhere in the area.  A friend said her driveway was washed out in places and I sure ours is as well.  We haven't checked that yet.  There was around 6 inches of accumulation were we park the car but it was gone quickly.

Today is our Heidi's birthday.  She will be getting extra liver and, of course, lots of cuddles.  She is now a teenager and still is good health other than a bit of stiffness.  As her age is almost equivalent to mine she is doing pretty well.

I have almost finished the top for a baby quilt and then will do another.  These will be for sale.  And then I have some customer tops to do.

(Hubby was going into the village and had to come back and get a saw as a small tree was across the driveway!)

Blessings,
