This top is my next customer quilt to do. It is going to an elderly lady for her bed in a long tern care facility. I think she will find it very cheerful. It is made with batik fabric so will stand up to a lot of washings. I haven't decided how to quilt it yet but it won't be closely stitched as I don't want it to be stiff. I am thinking that I may use flannel for the backing. Will see what the customer says.
I didn't get very much done today. Had a meeting this morning, did a bit of sewing in the afternoon and then laid down on the couch and fell asleep. Not sure if it is age, or the weather but I felt draggy all day. Hope I have more energy tomorrow.
