Cavandish

One last lot of photos.  These were taken in Cavandish, PEI, the home of author Lucy Maud Montgomery who wrote the Anne of Green Gable books. The books have been popular with young girls for generations and the television series starring Megan Follows increased the popularity.
Although Cavandish has a few areas of tacky tourism, it has managed to keep it away from the historic areas-much to their credit.
