Christmas and Eating

I am at the 'try not to be overwhelmed' stage of pre-Christmas.  I still have not been able to get my long arm working properly so will be doing my customer quilt on the domestic machine.  I pinned the layers at quilt group today after volunteering one of the ladies to help.  It is crib size so it shouldn't take to long to finish-longer than on Gracie but certainly quicker than by hand.
We had our Christmas dinner at quilt group and it was a lovely time with 14 out of our 15 members attending.  The other lady is dealing with some serious health issues so she was very much on our thoughts.  One more get together before the big day and that is with three friends will have lunch and exchange some silly gifts and then on Sunday it is the church lunch and gift exchange.  Sure is a lot of eating at Christmas.
