Unto Us a Child is Born

This will be my last post until Dec. 28th.  I am assuming you are busy wrapping gifts, perhaps travelling, visiting family and friends and don't have time to be sitting at your computer and wondering what I am up to.
I leave you with this photo and my wishes for a wonderful, peaceful and safe Christmas.
This picture is from a live nativity that the Edmonton church I attended puts on.  It consists of real animals, costumed characters, bonfires, a choir of angels and the manager scene.  The baby is real.  May it remind you of the reason behind the season.

Blessings

  1. Merry Christmas to you and your family Anna. You're right about being busy with all sorts of last minute Christmas preparations, including finishing two quilts for grandaughters. I meant to post a message to you the other day. As we also live in a more remote area of Bruce County we do enjoy the darkness and what you can see in the sky at night.Looking forward to hearing from you after Christmas.

  3. Merry Christmas to you too, Anna. We just got home from Christmas Eve Mass. There is always a procession with Mary, Joseph, angels, shepherds, animals [really cute little costumes!], the Wise Men, and a live baby. What a wonderful start to Christmas!
